WingX ("we", "us", or "our") provides AI-powered help for dating-app conversations, openers, profile feedback, and general dating advice. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it is shared or processed by our service providers, and what choices you have about your data.

This Privacy Policy applies to the WingX mobile app and related services.

1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use WingX, and limited technical information needed to operate the service.

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive and store basic account information such as your name, email address, profile photo, and authentication-related identifiers.
• Profile information you provide — we collect the information you choose to add in onboarding or later in the app, such as your age, gender, dating intention, primary dating app, job title, hobbies, experience, and location or city information that you type into the app.
• Account and service metadata — we store information such as onboarding status, account creation date, last login time, and internal account status flags needed to operate the service.
• Images and screenshots — we collect images you choose to capture with your camera, select from your photo library, or share into WingX from another app. This includes match screenshots, feedback screenshots, and image attachments used in coaching features.
• Chats and generated content — we collect your conversations with WingX, including your messages, timestamps, linked images, and the outputs generated for you, such as openers, replies, profile feedback, screenshot descriptions, and extracted text used to provide the feature you requested.
• Feedback and support information — if you send feedback, bug reports, ratings, or suggestions, we collect that information along with related technical context such as app version, operating system, device type, source screen, and any optional screenshot you include.
• Technical and diagnostic information — we collect limited technical information such as crash logs and service diagnostics to maintain the app, fix bugs, and improve reliability.

We do not collect your contacts, do not collect background location, and do not access photos or images unless you choose to upload, capture, or share them into WingX. Any location information in your profile is information you choose to type into the app.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate WingX and provide the features you request.

• To provide the service — we use your account, profile, chats, screenshots, and other inputs to generate dating advice, openers, replies, profile feedback, and other coaching outputs.
• To personalize your experience — we use the information you provide, such as your profile details, preferences, and prior interactions, so WingX can give more relevant and consistent guidance over time.
• To process screenshots and images — we use uploaded or shared images to understand match conversations, extract relevant context, and generate outputs based on the feature you requested.
• To maintain your account and app experience — we use account and service metadata to manage sign-in, onboarding progress, saved history, and feature functionality across sessions.
• To respond to feedback and support requests — we use ratings, bug reports, comments, and related technical details to investigate issues and improve the app.
• To maintain safety, security, and reliability — we use technical and diagnostic information to detect misuse, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and keep WingX functioning properly.

We do not sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where Your Data Goes and Who Processes It

WingX uses a small number of service providers to operate the app and deliver the features you request.

• Google Sign-In / Google Identity — used to authenticate your account when you sign in with Google.
• Google Firebase — used to store and manage your account information, profile data, conversations, feedback, screenshots, and other uploaded content, including Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage.
• Google Cloud Run — when you use WingX features, relevant inputs such as your messages, profile context, screenshots, image descriptions, and related request data may be processed by our backend services before a response is generated.
• Google Vertex AI / Gemini — used to generate AI-powered responses, dating advice, openers, replies, profile feedback, and other requested outputs.
• Groq — used for image understanding and text extraction from screenshots and uploaded images where needed to provide the requested feature.
• Google Play Services / Android Vitals — may collect limited crash and technical diagnostics information on Android to help identify app stability issues.

We use these providers only to operate WingX and provide its features. We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

Depending on the feature you use, these providers may process your messages, screenshots, uploaded images, profile context, generated outputs, feedback, and technical diagnostics.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as needed to operate WingX and provide the features you use.

• Account, profile, conversations, generated outputs, screenshots, and feedback may be stored while your account remains active so WingX can provide saved history, personalization, and feature functionality across sessions.
• Some data may be processed and stored temporarily as part of providing features such as screenshot analysis, image understanding, and AI-generated responses.
• If you request deletion of your account, we permanently delete your account and associated user data from our systems.
• If you delete a screenshot or uploaded image in WingX, it is permanently deleted.

You can manage or delete your data in the following ways:

• Update your profile — anytime in the app.
• Delete a screenshot — long-press it in the Matches tab where that option is available.
• Delete your account and associated data — through Settings → Delete my data, through our web deletion page at https://wingx.io/delete-account, or by contacting us at support@wingx.io.

Deleting the app or signing out does not automatically delete your account or stored data.

5. Age Requirement

WingX is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from any minor. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete that information and may disable or remove the associated account.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We use measures such as secure authentication, access controls, Firestore Security Rules, and HTTPS for network traffic to help protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as WingX evolves or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If the changes are material, we may also provide notice in the app.
