Delete Your Account

Effective Date: April 14, 2026

You can delete your WingX account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, how we verify it’s really you, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.

1. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated user data, send us an email from the same email address you used to sign in to WingX:

We require the request to come from your account email so we can confirm the request is coming from you, and not from someone trying to delete your account without your permission.

We will permanently delete your account and associated user data within 30 days of receiving your request, and reply to confirm once it is done.

2. What gets deleted

When you delete your WingX account, the following are permanently removed from our systems:

• Account information — name, email, profile photo, and authentication identifiers tied to your WingX account.
• Profile information — age, gender, dating intention, primary dating app, job, hobbies, experience, location, and any other profile fields you filled in.
• Conversations and generated content — your chats with WingX, including your messages, the responses generated for you, openers, replies, profile feedback, and screenshot descriptions.
• Images and screenshots — match screenshots, feedback screenshots, and any images you captured, selected, or shared into WingX.
• Feedback you submitted — ratings, bug reports, and comments you sent to us, along with the related technical context.
• Account and service metadata — onboarding status, account creation date, last login time, and internal account flags.

3. What may be retained

Limited records may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, security, or to resolve disputes. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be linked back to you.

4. Effects of deletion

• Your account is permanently closed and cannot be recovered.
• You will not be able to sign in again with the same Google account unless you create a new WingX account from scratch.
• Any saved conversations, openers, profile feedback, and screenshots are gone for good.

If you only want to remove a specific screenshot rather than the whole account, you can long-press it in the Matches tab in the WingX app where that option is available.
