Photos aren’t everything, but vibe matters way more than you think

Never lead with photos that hide your face with sunglasses, hats, looking away. You look like you’re catfishing or hiding something. Same thing with too many group photos, no one wants to play “Where’s Waldo” on a dating app.

Vibe matters more than your looks. Your photos are a trailer of what’s to come — be approachable, smile and show your hobbies instead of talking about them. Have shots of you doing your favorite activity. Show her that ramen joint you would take her to. Let people know you are fun to hang out with.

Lazy prompts are killing your profile

“I like food and travel,” “Fluent in sarcasm,” etc. are prompts women see 50 times a day. These prompts make you forgettable and give them nothing to talk about. Right prompts can create a hook she can reply to. Use photo prompts to show that cool hobby, or that ramen shop you love. You never know where you end up finding your people.

Small stuff that tanks your profile

Avoid the low-effort mirror or gym selfies, solo photos of cats or dogs. Photos with other women that look like your ex, a bio that rants and checklists of what you want. They give the wrong message.

Mixed signals in your bio — short term, open to long — and photos that look like four different versions of you are subtle red flags that make them swipe left.
